Clean agriculture by vertical farming

In agriculture, crude oil is used to power tractors, logistics and warehouses. Vertical farming avoids the use of crude oil, by putting water, seeds, nutrients and carbon dioxide together in a climate cell powered with wind mills. Additionally, GrowX -the first commercial Dutch vertical farm- uses LED-lightning, no pesticides and less water. Co-founder John Apesos explains how they clean up the logistical chain of agriculture from start to finish and why vertical farming is suitable for urban areas.
