Flowering roadside as paradise for bees
Pollinators, such as bees, have an important role for the conservation of biological diversity, ecosystems, food production and the global economy. The effects of human activities trouble animal pollination. Many natural wildly flowering areas are disappearing from the landscape to make room for buildings and infrastructure. Honey Highway is an initiative to plant wild flowers on the side of the road to provide food for bees so they have a better change to survive the winter.
