Using North Sea waves to produce energy

Waves make a circular motion just below the surface. It gives an up and down movement and a reciprocating motion. Slow Mill has developed a technique that, contrary to other techniques, captures both movements and transforms it into energy. Slow Mill harnesses the energy of short and irregular North Sea waves, while providing a safe environment for biodiversity. Besides, Slow Mill reduces the wave beat behind the installation, which can be an interesting opportunity for coastal protection or for cultivating fish at sea.
